Travel and Feature Writing For a Fee

The first thing that comes to mind when it comes to feature writing is the wide-ranging topics that you can explore. For somebody who’s been writing for more than ten years, I can say that lifestyle is my main interest. From beauty to entertainment to fashion to profile, you can experiment with your writing styles because of the interesting subjects that come to mind. For now, I really enjoy travel writing.

For my first travel assignment, the real and not just an incidental one, I was sent to Pangasinan to cover five seaside towns, each presenting different depth and beauty. From the moment we set foot (I traveled with a photographer) on Alaminos town proper, I was hooked. I thought, this is something that I can do till I grow old. And so, travel writing was added to my resume.

Someday, I want to try news writing too. I know for many news writing is simple but for me since my background is feature writing, this is not so simple at all. I’ve tried news writing in college though but that was it. I would admit I haven’t written a news article for a fee.

Well every writer has his or her own forte. If you find that your interests delineate towards feature or news or investigative or books, then by all means go for it. Writing is not only fun, you can even do it for a fee or better yet become a famous one.

This is good for obvious reasons - they look great, just having them nearby attracts other models, and it opens doors for you - like exclusive clubs and whatnot. If you are seeking pure physical beauty, you are all set. If you are seeking someone that is not cynical and slightly bitter about humans in general, someone focused on the human condition and intellect, then you are out of luck - but who cares, you attract models!
